The differences between Kolorov and Clichey are obvious Clichey has the edge defensively but Kolorov has the knack of making better use of the space in front of him in the final 3rd He arrives in these areas at the right times and then sometimes has the quality as seen today to deliver a great ball....Clichey does not have the quality dlivery in his locker as such but is better equipt to deal with a winger or speed merchant 1v1 and that is the major difference between the two....if you could take the best parts of each player you would have one hell of a fullback on your hands
Kolorov as a winger is not an option wingers need to create there own space with a bit of trickery or skill and then utilise that space...basically Kolorov requires others to allow him the space and that is why he will never be a winger delivering a decent cross does not make a winger

Kolarov's cross against Liverpool was pretty epic.
When teams are playing SO deep like we are used to these days, especially at home I think Kolarov could be the key to (footballing cliché alert) unlocking defences. Although I disagree with their argument in today's game, the Beeb's report basically says that we spent too much time farting around outside the box, and passing both them and us to death.
In these cases it is imperative that we have some real danger coming in from the wing and utilize Dzeko effectively. That's where Kolarov can bring in some serious points for our team.
In more competitive matches we need Clichy, who I think is the better player actually.

Yes but they wont ,simply because a lot of them are just clueless about football.You only have to listen to what some people around you come out with on matchday.franksinatra said:Outstanding again today. Hopefully some will reconsider there stance about the player as incredibly some still say he useless going forward.

Yaya, Zaba, Aguero, Balotellli. One of those 4.
