big blueballs said:The differences between Kolorov and Clichey are obvious Clichey has the edge defensively but Kolorov has the knack of making better use of the space in front of him in the final 3rd He arrives in these areas at the right times and then sometimes has the quality as seen today to deliver a great ball....Clichey does not have the quality dlivery in his locker as such but is better equipt to deal with a winger or speed merchant 1v1 and that is the major difference between the two....if you could take the best parts of each player you would have one hell of a fullback on your hands
Kolorov as a winger is not an option wingers need to create there own space with a bit of trickery or skill and then utilise that space...basically Kolorov requires others to allow him the space and that is why he will never be a winger delivering a decent cross does not make a winger
Our friends from the balkans do link up well but there is also an opposition to consider too:(BosnianDiamond said:Put Kolarov on the wing and watch Dzeko score all day!
Yes but they wont ,simply because a lot of them are just clueless about football. You only have to listen to what some people around you come out with on matchday.franksinatra said:Outstanding again today. By my recknoning that is 3 goals and 8 assits for the season. We all know he has deficiencies in his game but I hope this maybe the turning point for City fans to be more vocal about the qualities he brings to the team. Its a similar story with Dzeko, attention is paid to his negatives but forget how crucial the 18+ goals will have at the end of the season.
Hopefully some will reconsider there stance about the player as incredibly some still say he useless going forward.
Yaya, Zaba, Aguero, Balotellli. One of those 4. They were superb on a super day.citymad said:Have to admit he had a really good game and some of those crosses were superb but for the big games (like Porto,Rags, Chelsea and rest of Europa) we must play Clichy. Not sure he was MOTM today, for me, Silva, De Jong, Aguero, Zabba, Yaya and Vinny were more worthy candidates.
He's not useless going forward but defensively he is very poor and as a defender it's a pretty important role in his job description.Thenumber1blue said:Yes but they wont ,simply because a lot of them are just clueless about football. You only have to listen to what some people around you come out with on matchday.franksinatra said:Outstanding again today.
