Kolarov

Ive posted in a number of threads but never get a reply, Does anyone know if its true thats hes been in full training for 2 weeks and how come he didnt make the squad yesterday? Will he make the team next week? Also a lot has been made about how having him in the team will change our shape/tactics so how do you think we will line up with him in the side?

he'll be on bench against Wolves I think. The reason why he has not been rushed back like Balotelli is because Mancini said Balo injuries heal quick where as Kolarov needs more time to allow his injuries heal in time.

His delivery was brilliant. It was nice to see a LB other than the likes of Lescott and Bridge or an out-of-position Zaba. He looked confident and is well built too. Maybe top draw wasn't the best term to use but you get my point.

Lennon couldnt get past him. I think it's true Milner will go centre when he's back with Balo left side of attack, it seems to be what Mancini is going on about when asked about a fully fit squad.

Shooter, that's exactly my point. Remember that feeling when Sylvinho played LB last season against them? That really was a case of terriblitis.

and DD, I can't say I noticed him giving the ball away that much tbh.. will have to have a look back and see if you have a point !

I'm not sure about being in first team training for 2 weeks because he was only doing a bit of basic passing on Thursday night before the players came out to warm up...surely if he was at Balo's stage, he would've been on the bench? I see it being the West Brom game where he is at full fitness and starting games :) I'd love to see Balotelli start next weekend too!

Am I right in saying I saw Balotelli training on thursday too?

+ Kolarov was top draw against Spurs. Can't wait to get him back!

Indeed you are correct mate :) I'd just say Balo was a bit ahead of Kolarov though in fitness :)

All of you slating his performance against Spurs, he was up against Lennon, one of the best in the country if you ask me for pace and going past men (It's just his final ball), that was Kolarov's first game for us and he had to play against Lennon...I don't think he did that bad and if I remember rightly, I'm sure he took a knock earlier in the half rather than later so he played the half with a knock! We'll see the real him when he gets a run of games...no point in slating him after 45 minutes of a Premier League game ffs
