If he would have 1 year on his contract like Clichy last year...

He is a good left back, especially in the Serie which is slower than PL he is easily in top two LBs in that league.

Get at least 10 or 12 m for him.

I would assume Zaba will cover both flanks... unless there are more changes planned at full back...

Strange deal this one, surely he's worth more than £6m to us? Who can we buy that is a marked improvement on him?

Utter madness if we sell that low, typical buy high sell low which sadly seems to be us all over if this is true, if he doesn't want to go then we don't need to sell him, if he does either ask for more or give them him and cash for Snedjer..it is high time we stopped being such a soft touch.

WTF when we go after a player the price quoted always starts at 20m

Rule no.1 of the football media: when a player is joining manchester city, report that it is for double the actual fee and treble the actual wage

Rule no.2: when a player is leaving manchester city, report that the fee is half the actual fee

Rule no.3: When a player is joining or leaving Manchester united, report the opposite of rules 1 & 2 respectively

If there was any truth in this (which I doubt) and Kolarov left, we wouldn't need to buy a replacement.
Why shell money out when we have a utility man like Zaba???

Helan looks a good player for the future (as is Rekik) and should be tried out in league cup games, it is time we started using the more advanced youth players in these type of games.

People on here are too quick to say "we should buy X, we should buy Y", it isn't fair on the youth players and it isn't fair on whoever we brought in.
We don't need to rotate every player in the team and I personally don't believe the defence should be interfered with.
I'm also a believer that we should play our strongest 11 available for each game (fitness permitting) so to have 2 world class players for each position is stupid and will always upset the player that has to sit out the game in the stand.
All you need is an able understudy, who can be relied on when called upon.
