Kolasinac

Rumours were he was going to sign with Arsenal a few week ago but just seen this...Anyone know if we still have a shot at signing him?

Three clubs remain in the race for Kolašinac, who is out of contract at Schalke in June: City, Arsenal and AC Milan (small chance). [BILD]

I'd rather him on a free than extend Clichy.

Edit: He said he would announce his new club at Easter, something has delayed his decision. Maybe we've moved for him?

It feels good to sign useful player for Free.

Bayern Got Lewandowski, United got Zlatan, hopefully we can get Kolasinac.

Don't really know much about him, but from his Youtube video, he actually looks like a left-sided Walker. He looks pretty physical, but nothing special technically. Obviously didn't really get a sense of his positioning or anticipation. He doesn't immediately stand out as a Pep-style of player though. But obviously getting a first choice left back from a team like Schalke on a free is tempting, especially when he's still only 23.

absolute steal on a free and you would think with Leroy being here and pep being our manager we should be able to convince him to come to city ahead of the arse.

Good signing on a free, physical/powerful/aggressive(things we lack), can play a few different positions too

Not sure he is a prototype Pep fullback though, about Kolarov pace and is there a reason he completes just 70% of his passes?

He's much faster than Kolarov. I've seen him outpace Pedro who isn't lightning, but isn't a slouch either.

He's not a speed merchant but he's fast enough to not worry about his speed.

Link? Figured CityWatch would've tweeted about this if true.

Edit: The only thing I can find from today is this, which says Bild are saying he has opted for the Gooners -- http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/bosinian-star-chooses-arsenal-over-milan-64716

maybe it's only a wrong translation I'm trying to find this article on bild but for now i only found the one that speaks of "the three-team's challenge"

Had to use google translate but "milan news" (dont know who the source is?) are saying he's decided to come to us...seems like he just trying to get a bidding war going between interested clubs...

Man City from Germany: pre-agreement with Kolasinac, Arsenal mocked
It seemed to be done for Sead Kolasinac at Arsenal, but the future of the outbreak with Schalke 04 seems to turn yellow again. According to Bild, the player had a pre-agreement with Manchester City on a salary of 140,000 euros a week. After flirting with Juventus, Milan and Gunners, Kolasinac seems ready to surprise everyone again.
