shit, shit news. we've just been knocked back by Terry who would have been great, and now we're signing another lazy arsenal f*****. They were lucky to be top 4 last season, if not for Villa's paper thin squad. Lets not try to emulate them.

I don't want my football club to turn into a team of african mercenaries. Sorry if that offends anyone, but quite frankly I couldn't give a s***.

Where is the english backbone Hughes? I was excited after signing Barry but I'm becoming disillusioned yet again.

We are not going to sign every player that appears on the front page of Shoot! magazine so get used to it or go and support Real fuckin Madrid.

Toure is a better centre half than Richard Dunne.

Other than Nedum, we have no quality centre halves (although Vinny is good in that position and I'm convinced Micah will come good in that position over the coming years.

It's a good buy in my eyes and it imporves the squad.

i know its all about opinions, but i reckon Dunnie still a better CB than micah will ever be. micahs a quality RB for me. also i think Dunnes a better CB than Vinny. I have serious doubts about VK as a centreback (but reckon he's great cover)

Some City fans needs to put it into prospective, those who are moaning about the signature of a player like Kolo Toure, cast your minds back to when we were signing the likes of Benjani and Corradi last day of the window, and yet we could potentially be looking at a line up like this next year, its just unreal how some of you are moaning.
