Kompany is nowhere near as good as De Jong in the DM role, Kompany makes too many sily fouls, doesn't dictate play, doesn't have the same positional sense. De Jong is one of the best DM's in the league, top class.
I'm not getting on Komp's back here, he's one of the most naturally talented footballers we've got here, a real class talent and the best CB this club has had since Van Buyten, we just need to play him in his proper role and if he isn't happy at CB he can sit on the bench and wait to play DM.
Kompany is nowhere near as good as De Jong in the DM role, Kompany makes too many sily fouls, doesn't dictate play, doesn't have the same positional sense. De Jong is one of the best DM's in the league, top class.

The money men were happy to spaff £100 million on Lescott, Toure and Terry. Most of that was going on Terry !
Bruno Alves is a younger version of Calvaho and cost half what Terry was going to cost us. We should go all out IMO same Lescott.
If Terry was worth £40 Million and £1 million a month in wages with a fucked back at 29 Lescott at 26 is worth £30 million and £100k a week. I have no problem with that at all !
