Something's amiss with the medical care our players are getting. How the fuck are we picking up so many non-impact injuries this last 3 or so seasons? It's getting ridiculous now. We're winning titles and cups despite our medical staff, not because of them.

I know what you mean but the fact remains, it is the same players...Kompany, Silva, Jovetic and Aguero which suggests it is more player related than medical team issues?

To be successful you need cover in every position, we have Boyata to assist Mangala and Demi.

The big problem I can see is up front after the departure of Negredo, Aguero out injured when on fire and Dzeko not cutting the mustard and also becoming injury prone. We need a proven and reliable goal poacher in the January window.

Mistake risking him today, he wasn't even fit enough to be on the bench on weds and starts today. No need.

Pellers said midweek he could have played at a pinch, surely if the player says he is ok and the scans look clear you can't blame the manager, unfortunately some players are more prone to injuries and I guess Vinny is one of, them, hazard of being a professional footballer!

Can't imagine it'll keep him out longer than a week, they may air on the side of caution. He walked off without a limp, usually a good sign of a hamstring injury.
