A bit of a disgrace that piece showing every tackle that Kompany's done that he's slid in! So when another player does similar will the mail do the same?!

Vinnie will not get away with this. It's just not going to happen.

Saying that Delap got sent off for a reasonably similar offence last season against Crawley and that was rescinded. Only difference being Delap came from a greater distance at greater pace.

Just can't see the FA going against the ref regardless of the above

Kompany's red card was the 8th in the league since the start of last season. More than any of our rivals, in fact 7 more than United who's only red card in 1 1/2 seasons was Evans' blatant professional foul in the 6-1 that could only have one outcome. They go on about all their injuries last season, well we had another handicap to deal with...

If Kompany's tackle is worthy of a red card then Scholes will never play another game of football as he will be permanently banned as would Gerrard and Skrtel.
