Does anybody know if the red card he got earlier in the year carries over for a second red albeit a professional foul.

If it does he misses three games.

Yellows are wiped out unless another 5 yellows are accrued so I am worried its the same with a red.

When did he get a red earlier in the year?

I was listening to the blokes over hear in oz who stated he was red carded earlier in the season in a league game.

I should have checked as I must admit I didn't recall one myself.

My apologies I should have known better.

Just hoping he doesn't receive any further bans for his reaction afterwards. The game wasn't on Sky so therefore we won't be subjected to a 24hr loop of it for the next 48hrs to put pressure on the FA to do something.

Spot on Wayne , and his cohort , I don't listen to them as a rule but I was watching the highlights after the game and forgot to turn down the sound.

If I was an opposition forward I would always keep close to Kompany, as he does have a tendency to 'play' out. Although it may have been a foul today, he did take a chance and got caught out - I think that's why he kicked the wall, he knew he was at fault.

Minority opinion here I know but Kompany shouldn't have been so pedestrian on the ball, he was asking for trouble. Then again up until that point our entire team were playing like we were 3 up in the last 10 minutes. Had he been more alert, had most the team been more hungry the situation never would of happened.

I'm not sure that's a great idea either. Not sure the Fa will be too happy with that. Are players ok doing that sort of thing?

I'll get slated for this but it was a poor decision by Vinny to drag him back, yes it should have been a foul but it wasn't given. He would have had ample time to track back and we'd still have 11 men on the pitch. He can be forgiven though given the amount of times he has saved us.

You're right, but as a defender myself its instinct to "take one for the team". Although it was completely the wrong decision I can understand why he did it.

I think he was angry that the ref didn't blow up for the initial foul on him. As soon as he'd made the gesture, he knew he was off, I think, and was angry with himself as much as anything. Love it that the lads did it for him! Would have just loved to see him in the dressing room afterwards.
