Not self congratulatory mate. Just reminding the (many) posters that went into melt down that they were just a bit premature and next time maybe hold off on the criticism of the club until they see the evidence.

Just watched the video on the City YouTube channel.

I think they look stunning. Can’t wait to see them in the flesh (so to speak) in a few hours.

I love that the club have done something more abstract and creative, and the nod to Manchester industrial history in the materials and construction methods is beautiful.

Of course some will disagree. One of the great things about art is that it is in lots of ways subjective and provokes debate.

Like Vinnie’s Carla I got a bit emotional there! Brilliant statues plus I’ve just been sent two photos of them in daylight by one of the stewards. Look just as good in daylight as night! Yes a fitting tribute to two of our legends. Now where are we going to put Sergio? ;-)

Awesome statues got quite emotional watching the videos especially el mago, what a player.
Definitely a one off and a privilege to see him use that magic wand of a left foot.

The works may not conform to classical tastes, but, like the players they represent, I think they're superb.

I got goosebumps watching the short video, and, in the spirit of the first two, I'd like to see this for Aguero - look who else is in the shot!
