Least he is paying his salary to charity it may well be a publicity stunt but credit to him

Never liked him, he's never had a good word to say about City, overrated player throughout his career, never understood the media and public love-in for him...but he didn't have to do this and I wouldn't do it, so fair play to him.

Even though the move and this gesture is all about his cv and his image it's still a top thing to do.

Giving money to charity = keeping brand Beckham alive = retaining sponsorship deals for watches, underpants & hair gel = more money than he would have given to charity.

Not that I'm cynical or anything ......... and I'm sure there is a nice tax angle related to charity donations.
