I don't think people need educating that they allow other people to abuse animals for their own pleasure which is what eating meat is.

I'm a meat eater but morally there isn't an argument for doing so. We are a strange lot we give animals a hierarchy. Eat or kick fido and you're a monster but treat a chicken like shit its fine. After all you don't want to walk a chicken up a road and it tastes nice with gravy.

You can’t because one is a pet but eating meat is certainly cruel to animals and the hypocrisy on here isn’t surprising. The guys a **** without a doubt and I have already condemned him.

If anyone is content with having an animal killed for their pleasure then that’s their choice but let’s not pretend it’s morally right. We all convince ourselves that eating meat is perfectly fine yet very few including me would actually kill an animal for meat.

We claim to be a country of animal lovers but people are generally full of shit. If it goes woof and we have to bag it’s shit then strangely people seem to love it. If it Moos and tastes great with a pepper sauce then it can go and fuck itself.

Cows wouldn’t exist if we didn’t eat & milk them, because they make shit companions, take up lots of green space, and contribute significantly to greenhouse gasses. The ONLY thing they have going for them is they’re tasty!

Not in the slightest and that only confirms the mentality of the human race, we are more evolved(supposedly) so we can breed to kill, we are more important than animals you see. I’m sure daisy appreciated its time on earth before someone killed it so we can fill our bellies.

Your view is as old as the hills but when taken to an extreme it falls apart rapidly. You are doing what we all do make up some dodgy argument so you can have a nice piece of meat.

At the end of the day we see animals as something we can do whatever we please with as long as it tastes nice, it’s body has value or it doesn’t wear a collar.

After all a burger and a leather jacket is a basic human right.

That’s because we have learned that dogs can offer other benefits to us other than eating them (except for certain parts of the world) through work, companionship or entertainment. And also other food is readily available from animals less able to do such things. It’s not really that odd. As for actually killing the animal for one’s own food, this was still commonplace up to the last war with chickens for example.
