Kurt Zouma | Fined £250k by club and cats removed by RSPCA

If people keep standing up to these wankers, calling them out on social media or better still to their face where possible, then there is certainly something we can all do about it.

The first step is raising awareness that something is unacceptable behaviour.
On reflection, yes I agree. A collective effort can sometimes lead to big changes.

Like the recent Raith Rovers U-turn on signing David Goodwillie, for example ? Do we as a society, or WHU fans in this case, give our tacit approval to animal cruelty by allowing Zouma to continue his career basically unhindered or is there such a public backlash that he is eventually forced out ? Idk where the line in the sand is drawn. If it was one of our players that did what Zouma did, would we want them to leave the club ?
He should be punished by having a middle aged woman scoop him up and drop him into a wheelie bin.
Seriously, I would want him out of City.

social media world we live, outraged for 5 mins before we move on to the next news story to get outraged again - Jimmy Carr and Zouma this week, be a couple others next week.
I really am a grumpy old man now.
I am sure that there is not a person on this forum that hasnt done something really stupid or nasty at some point in time....but it wasnt recorded and put out into the world for all to witness.
It is perhaps that which I find to be the worst thing about that. That his brother should find it equally funny and want to share the frivolity with the world.
The act was wrong and sharing it even more so.
Why????? (shakes head)
Act like a dick and I am sure there will be repercussions, unless of course it is being investigated by Merseyside Police.

If people feel outraged by a **** kicking a cat then I think they are entitled to feel that way without one of your usual boring arguments about social media turning everyone into hateful cunts.
Listen, Zouma is a twat for what he did, everything else being posted is just noise.
Maybe folk will move on after 5 minutes but it doesn’t alter the facts that Zouma is still a twat.

Agree with that aswell, as i've said he deserves punishment and i would vouch for a months wage all to RSPCA or something along them lines.

Everyone has their own line mate. There's no set rule for this kind of thing in football governing bodies. Just how much you can fine them etc. They can't legislate for every human action. I heard someone say this morning that the hammers have eleven different sponsors and they will be looking at whether they want an animal abuser to have their product/service on his shirt. If the public pressure or publicity against them is relatively low, they'll let it slide. If it becomes a real problem for them financially, they'll act.
