Kuwaiti to buy Forest?

Re: Kuwaiti to buy Nott Forest?

Would be great for them if they could get a new owner in with some cash to splash.

Been a sleeping giant for too long now.

Gulf arabs like to build things..What´s the Forest capacity now?

30,603. They were getting a new stadium if England got the World Cup though.

Correct, plans were afoot to build a new stadium near the Gamston Island close to Tollerton airfield, this is about 2 miles from the current ground, personally I would love them to stay where they are if they could redevelop, I think that setting next to the Trent is one of the best in the football league.

Tollerton Airfield. You make it sound so grand. I would love this to be true, but I'm not holding my breath. I made my usual annual visit to the City Ground for their final game v Pompey and to say the football was poor is an understatement. Went to Meadow Lane the week after and the quality of the beer, the food, the waitresses and the football was of a higher standard. Shame about Notts' inbred looking fans from Hucknall, mind.

Also someone should edit the title. The natives get very precious about that.

In hindsight it was/is fairly certain that clubs like Leeds, Forest and Wednesday will get an ambitous owner eventually.

They can rot.

Forest would be a decent acquisition, nice stadium, just the old main stand left to redevelop IIRC so could probably expand to a 35k capacity.

Wednesday can too, the piggies.

Always liked Forest, hope this comes to fruition / can get back up to prem, would rather go there than Wigan away. THEY HAVE A HOOTERS.

+ there might be more shit bag slapping nappers on train tales.

No, Wednesday are the ones we want back in the prem, it's Sheff Utd who can rot in league one the dirty pigs. Was hilarious to watch them implode and lose in the play offs!
