I don't think he had a particularly good game today, but I do fear in general with Walker that people discount all the excellent things he does for us because of a few moments. A bit like we used to with Otamendi.

Yeah, considering how quick the world was to wheel out this excuse for Harry Kane's form I think it's fair that Walker is given the same benefit of the doubt. At least until he's had a rest and can put this run to bed.

He has played a lot of games but I would argue that other than Ederson he has the easiest job in the side. We have him playing as an ultra-defensive full back, in a team that has 70% possession every week and doesn’t concede many chances. He is not being asked to bomb up and down the wing, he isn’t being played out of position and he is being allowed to play with absolute negativity, by standing on the CBs toes and playing 2 yard passes. He should be absolutely killing it but instead, he’s getting gradually worse.

I think he is shite going forward honestly, his touch has been awful recently leading to rushed passes. He has played alot of games though and is an absolute athelete, played all world cup he is probably knackered. Wish our full backs were more attacking takes the burden off our wingers.
