He has been a brilliant signing who has improved this side dramatically.Unfortunately, for whatever reason.....he's lacking form presently and looks a tad out of sorts. He will recover, and he will rediscover his best, the lad's a winner.

Some comments and opinion in this thread are shameful.

I don’t get it he as not played well for month before that he was superb , anyone would think some of fans/supporters never saw Eddie McGoldrick play in that position for us

He has saved us a lot of times with his power and pace, especially when teams are counter-attacking us, but I thought he was poor today, he needs a rest, hopefully Danilo can step up, I'm sure Danilo has a lot more to offer than what we've seen so far.

Walker does have some odd habits, imo no good ones that he needs ditch. That weird hopping with leg in the air thing he did went attempting to and failing to block the shot for Palace's first goal what the hell was that? ..... and there a quite a few times when the balls laid onto him when he could whip a cross in first time, instead he uses the sole of his boot to either trap the ball or roll it out a few yards out in front of him (thus giving the opposition opportunity to close him down) before attempting to cross the ball.

Pep's right, we can;t give away penalties like that, think he just had a rush of blood to the head .... Like I said, he needs a rest ...

To a large extent Walker is being hung out to dry. He is clearly mentally and physically shot and has been for some time yet he has to play nearly every game as Danilo always seems to have mystery injuries that means he is rarely available to play other than for Brazil. Kyle really needs an extended break to recharge and refocus but unless Danilo is available for an extended run of games (& that hasn't been the case whilst he has been at the club) then he isn't going to get one.

Unfortunately we have signed two chronic sicknotes in both Danilo and Mendy and it's definitely a factor in our recent drop off in form.

Yep,its very much to his credit that he always makes himself available,he will always put himself on the line and he never goes hiding, while our sick notes and perma absentees are getting a much easier ride around these parts.

Walker will always give his best,he puts the team first as he's both a winner and a fighter, that mentality cannot be taught and we can never have enough players with a similar makeup.

He needs our backing now,and certainly not the shit some on here are giving him.

He is obviously well out of form probably for a number of reasons and needs resting. Danilo is more than capable if he can stay fit, it is a shame that we didn't keep Maffeo he looked to have the potential to make that spot his own. We are seeing how critical the fullback positions are again and it's looking like we will need to recruit there again as both Danilo and especially Mendy are not available enough during a season and we need specialist players there for rotation

We are also not protecting the defence as well as last season this was highlighted by the difference Kdb made when he came on yesterday. I like Gundo and Bernard as footballers going forward but they are not great at preventing the counter attack, the less said about JS in that position the better.

I thought the Palace RB Wissaka is very impressive every time I have seen him the same for Chillwell at Leicester. They would be ideal but I can't see us spending another 100 million on fullbacks anytime soon.

Biggest problem I have is that he never takes responsibility
He look to pass it on to raz or bernado
Similar to delph at left back
THen we become predictable

When does he ever whip a cross in that remotely looks like someone could attack it? They are always too high or too long I mean ffs how hardcore is a cross??
His energy helps the team but he just Doesn’t have a football brain

Chillwell is a great player looks in control of the ball and has a turn of pace can cross
Would love him
