Kyle Walker joins Burnley (pg5)

I think Walker is one of the best defensive FBs ever, and not just in the PL. Neither Neymar, nor Mbappe nor Vin Jr were happy to play against him.

His off the pitch behavior was grotesque though. Making him captain was a mistake that contributed to the malaise last season.
 
I would not be surprised if he did an interview before we play Burnley and said something stupid and end up getting booed.

In some moments we had 2 best right backs on the world. Kyle and Cancelo. And somehow decision was to invert Lewis :)

He only has/had 12 months left anyway but yes, any sort of fee (no idea how much of the £5mill is up front) plus roughly £10mill in wages off the books is all good. Him against Doku maybe when we meet will be interesting.

Plenty of brain farts throughout his career but give him his dues he has been a value for money signing. It is a little disappointing it has ended sour but not any worse than Yaya Toure or Carlos Tevez.
 
Arguably the best right back in the premier league and instrumental to our success and the way we played. Likes of Vinicius and mpabbe couldn’t outrun him and he even used to goad them into trying to outrun him.

Was sad last year when traroe from Fulham was able to rinse him for pace.

Either him or G Neville for best premier league right back.
