Absolutely disgusting.

The racism is obviously worse but I’m staggered how much a section of our support (including on here) has turned on the players and even the manager after all they’ve delivered. It only took 2 months of bad form for these people to switch as well.

When the chips are down is when you get behind people, not turn against them. I hope anyone found to have racially abused Walker (our best ever full back) is tracked down and brought to justice.

These won’t be fans. In the past, with racist abuse of footballers an overwhelming majority of such posts came from outside the UK with India and parts of the ME being the major culprits. Part of the problem with the games global profile and anonymous social media accounts.

Yeah it's definitely a young American kid going off how they spelt the offensive term. Don't know why you would even open your DMs from people you don't follow if you were a public figure. My message requests are full of random bollocks, some of it offensive and I hardly even post on Instagram. God knows what a pro footballers will be like.

It will be the hysterical Johnny come lately fans who have jumped on the bandwagon of our recent success and just can't stomach some failure. Find, prosecute and ban for life. I'd hazard a guess they have probably never attended a game though.
