Our online fan base has gone all Scouse.

Kyle should have left in the summer.

Keeping him, making him captain, and his poor performances for most of the season have made him a scapegoat and a target of a section of our online fan base.

Absolutely disgusting.

The racism is obviously worse but I’m staggered how much a section of our support (including on here) has turned on the players and even the manager after all they’ve delivered. It only took 2 months of bad form for these people to switch as well.

When the chips are down is when you get behind people, not turn against them. I hope anyone found to have racially abused Walker (our best ever full back) is tracked down and brought to justice.

Within reasonable parameters you are allowed to be as critical as you want about players, they are after all well paid professionals. However, the abuse hurled at Kyle Walker passed well outside the boundary that is acceptable. The people who post this filth should not be allowed into football grounds and probably should not be allowed own a computer or a phone as well.

He has been terrible for months/years, sad the club has kept him well beyond his sell by date and made the fans turn on him. He should have left as a legend two years ago along with a few others

Whilst Walker's best years have definitely gone, don't blame him for not leaving, not sure if you are aware it was Pep who persuaded him to stay.
