I honestly despair at sections of our fanbase and that these 'entitled' pricks think it's acceptable to go for a player.
If that's you? Go and follow someone else.
I've watched City for over 40 years.
It doesn't make me hurt less because of what we've been through when I was younger. Actually I'm devastated but I will support these players as long as they pull on a City shirt.
Yeah, I moan ON THE WAY HOME (don't we all???) when someone has played badly and there are some I don't think are ready/good enough to be playing week in, week out.

But come the next matchday they ALL have my support.

The match day threads, although always over the top, have become quite toxic.

Along with the individual player threads.

Same goes for the pre and post match threads. You can add in the players performance threads as well.
I said a while back that it was time to just read the stuff in off topic and ignore the football side but, I'm weak and don't have the will power.

Rather than a slap on the wrist joke punishment from the authorities we should stick the perpetrators in a locked room with Kyle for 5 mins and they’d never dare utter any such abuse again.

I'm going to start reporting posts I feel have gone beyond mere critique and I hope fellow posters do the same and the mods then take the appropriate action.

The racial abuse that Walker is talking about is on a completely different level to stuff posted on here, but agree that some of the toxicity towards players goes too far.

Glad that you will be reporting such posts in future though, because we rely heavily on it. The moderating team is relatively small in number so we don’t get to see every post. Many users are quick to criticise the match and player threads, but rarely actually report anything themselves which is frustrating.

Anyway, some posters really should think more about what they are posting. Constructive criticism is obviously fine, but hateful vendettas are not.

This forum is miles more respectful than other forms of social media because we are all blues who in the end just want a successful City. Football is very emotive and we as Blues go through the wringer constantly with media sniping and rival fan abuse. The last few weeks it has intensified so we need to be cut a bit of slack
