Going to play devil's advocate here but... would we even be able to convince them to come to City?
I said this to my son the other day when he was talking about us signing them. I'd be surprised if Spurs would even consider selling to us and it's doubtful that the players would see us as being an outrageously better place to be than Spurs just at the moment so incredibly unlikely they would kick up the fuss that would be required to give any deal a chance. They're in a settled team, part of a good functioning defence and are probably more likely to be in the Champions League than us next season. Also, despite the fact I'd sooner cut off my balls than live in London, lots of people seem to like the shit hole for some reason. Don't think we have a cat in hell's chance of getting either of them let alone both of them.

Would they be intrested in signing YES course they would! They would double there wages be playing for a manager that is regarded as the best in the world and would be playing for a team that doesnt have its best players cherry picked off us! Think we may only go for a left back and center back in summer think zabba and sagna will get another season and Kolarov!

Imagine Guardiola calling someone and telling him he sees them as the player he needs to create a Europe conquering team. I'm sure that would turn a few heads as it's a huge compliment but it totally depends on the player; what they want from their career, if they buy into his philosophy, how happy they are at their current club and if they want to uproot themselves and their families to somewhere else. Besides there's a lot more than that to any transfer and dealing with Levy is a huge stumbling block.

Personally I can't see either of them leaving spuds for us, especially if they finish above us and have CL next year.

Walker is the better footballer in my opinion. And the one of take if I'm.pushed.

Exactly my thoughts. Think Spurs will finish above us, their team looks strong, their manager is settled, they are settled, starting week in week out.... the only reason I can imagine them considering swapping is for Pep's vision, philosophy and reputation... but to be honest that hasn't worked out too well so far (don't shoot me, I know he needs time)... the other reason would be money.... and I will be honest, I would not want them here if they'd only come for money
