I think we need to move on from this. Walker is hardly Carlos Alberto. Indeed he's not much better than Ray Ranson!!

Not sure we can sign two quality RBs so I would use Dinho as the reserve RB. I would hold on to Delph, injured or not as it means we can sign a foreign RB. The question is who?

I think he'd be a good signing but we either make it happen or move on to someone else. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but I haven't been lookimg for 2 years unlike Txiki
 
Sign semedo, mendy and Bertrand and use Dinho as backup rb or keep maffeo. Delph can stick around for one more season if we need more homegrowns.

Too right. Given that he doesn't have to train the players, has an almost limitless budget and still we wait. I will give him credit for Bernardo who looks a cracking player.

Yes and Sane and Jesus. And Pep. But I get the frustration about the full backs. I think the critics have a point because there's no room to negotiate. You know what the price is. Pay it, or move on and find a player whose valuation you agree with. THis process should have been done weeks ago

Totally. The strange thing as I recall is Txiki signed Ronaldinho, Etoo, Deco et al but apart from Alves most of the defensive signings were poor.

Learnt that Aurier is off question is off to where? I still ask is there a zero chance of us signing the lad? I think this guy is built for the Premiership and I recall we were linked to him a while back.
 
If we get Bertrand in then the home grown factor is no longer that important so we could start to look elsewhere is Spurs take the piss. I hope we get him though, his pace would be scary with Sterling.

Bertrand is not quick. I didn't think he was anyway. Not arguing. Just my impression.
 
It pisses me off that we are considering paying £50 million for a player who is only being allowed to go because he has been replaced by one of our youth rejects!
 
Tottenham 'ITK's' on their forum saying Walker has gone, told players he's leaving. Whether that info predates twosips info that Levy has moved the posts again I dunno.
