Dont think id use the word bargain but yeah more the going rate i would say, and anyone dealing with Levy must no they will not be getting anyone on the cheap.
 
Sly Sports make me laugh, they report the fee is in excess of 50 mil then in the same breath report that Sheff Utd will get 4.5 mil as 10% of the deal, I'm sure they all can't be that shit at maths
 
The club are obviously irked by some of this morning's headlines, glad to see them putting the record straight on the fee.

I think the club not happy with the media reports of this transfer and wanted to leak to the local guys what it really is..

The #MCFC deal for Walker can't break the world record for a defender, only equal it. It is £45m up front and a max of £5m in add ons

#Mcfc say walker fee is £45m to be paid in instalments. Then max £5m in add ons. So it won't top £50m

Nope no stick from me or I suspect the quieter majority, its the handful of fee police that you need watch out for. And fwiw you are on the money (pardon the pun) we wouldnt bat an eyelid if we signed a Hazard or Mbappe for 90 or 100 million or more but we cant spend 50 on a defender. Every position in a team is equally important, that's why its a team game.
