As @OB1 suggested on here, I wonder if it’s as much a “family decision” as his alone. We all know these dynamics matter.
I reckon it could be a family decision. If I was a betting man, I would say his missus wants to get him out of his familiar surroundings because of his "adventures" outside of their relationship. I also believe him having a child with another woman is a huge factor, and she wants him away from her. I highly doubt that a 33-year-old Kyle just fancies winning the Bundesliga. I don't think they would pay him more than us either, not considerably more anyway. It's not like he is joining Barcelona for the weather, so I definitely think it's a family decision.

More fantasy paper talk. Why the fuck would city and bayern meet in Japan to discuss a deal just because the two clubs are playing there? Do they think pep and tuchel are going to hash out the details themselves over a post match beer?

Presumably txiki and Freud, the two sporting directors who will actually be responsible for any negotiations, are both back in their respective offices doing their job.

Coincidence both clubs are on a pre season tour and just happen to be playing each other this week, the stars have aligned perfectly I would say on this one.

Sad to see him leave, he's been a wonderful player for us, but he's 33 and soon will be unable to reach previous levels, we have already seen signs of that last season.

Agree with that, and as a player whose brilliance relies heavily on pace he's only one injury away from the end at that age. In an ideal world he'd stay another two seasons gradually playing less as rice develops and plays more. If he wants to carry on starting every game for a couple of years then he might need to move but I doubt his body will thank him unless bundesliga is a piece of piss.

I think the Bundesliga is a piece of piss and would extend his career for at least a couple of seasons, hence why he is happy to go out there and not sign on for his "beloved" SUFC.
