Kyle Walker

I reckon it could be a family decision. If I was a betting man, I would say his missus wants to get him out of his familiar surroundings because of his "adventures" outside of their relationship. I also believe him having a child with another woman is a huge factor, and she wants him away from her. I highly doubt that a 33-year-old Kyle just fancies winning the Bundesliga. I don't think they would pay him more than us either, not considerably more anyway. It's not like he is joining Barcelona for the weather, so I definitely think it's a family decision.

The problem isn't his environment is it? It's his inability to control himself after a few drinks, no? Changing location doesn't affect that. They have beer, hangers-on, "groupies" and buxom blonds aplenty in Bavaria as well ......

Still, maybe its enough of a change for a woman who is clearly only sticking around for the money.

Probably not the wisest decision to move to a country where prostitution in whorehouses is legal then.

Or maybe it is.

If she doesnt mind him screwing around but doesnt want him to pick up diseases or kids, then it could be perfect.

Am I being too simplistic in saying just tell Bayern to fuck off then? We seem happy to tell Bernardo to stay but seemingly happy to let Walker leave despite our managers comments! Doesn’t make any sense to me. Clubs keep want away players all the time.

Sounds like he really wants us to keep him.

Unless Walker is absolutely adamant that he wants to leave then I think we should reject Bayern's offer. Even if he won't sign a new deal and we have to lose him on a free next summer I'd still rather we did that than let him go for a pittance and not be able to find a replacement.

Whilst it hasn't been a disaster and there's still plenty of time left, I think it's fair to say the transfer window probably hasn't gone exactly the way the club was planning so far.

We missed out on Bellingham who was reportedly our main transfer target and Rice who was our back-up, and it remains to be seen whether we'll get Gvardiol, a player who apparently the manager really wants.

Pep was clearly desperate for Gundogan to stay but we couldn't convince him, we gave Mahrez a new deal last summer which Pep will obviously have signed off on so I doubt he expected him to leave either and Bernardo could still leave which he would be very disappointed with as he absolutely loves him.

Bearing all that in mind, I just can't see us letting Walker leave when Pep has made it so clear he wants him to stay. The club will be wary of upsetting Pep after everything he has achieved with us, especially last season.

Sounds like we are just telling Bayern we want him to stay and if you want him then Fucking pay up
We should be saying £20m now or free next year
