Well yeah. He was supposed to move to Real a couple of seasons ago, wasn't he, and then it all fell through when he was offered a ridiculous amount of money to stay in an easy league. Rumours at the time that he was even being given a stake in the club as part of his contract. Don't know how true that is. But he seems to be more interested in money and his own personal profile than being part of a great team and winning great titles.

Ludicrous this, I know we have seen inflated prices the last 10 years but this could create a market that only ends in a crash…. Precedents are set but this has wiped out a further decade of progression in a heartbeat, should it materialise…

This is a potential super league in the making and fuck all can be done about it with this type of money, scary!

I think they are on a massive PR drive and I have read the current crown Prince is much more a moderate reformer than his predecessors.

I think he is cubt and hate the fact that I'm having to defend him at all. I genuinely feel dirty, but I kinda despise PSG more and I think they are actually wrong here. So I'm too happy to crucify them. :)
 
So are they really going to pay 259m for 1 season?

or will he sign a 3 year deal and RM will have to find say 200m to buy him in a years time?
 
Money will always win out as it did with golf. Like it or hate it there is no way of stopping it. We climbed to where we are by shaking the establishment. This is no different.

You only have to do it for one season though to make as much in one year as playing ten years in Europe, then come back and play here again.

They don’t need to. £249M is only of relevance if he wants to go to Saudi.

If someone in Europe offered £150M and Mbappé wants to go there, then that’s the only amount that matters. Mbappé is holding the cards, not PSG
