Kylian Mbappé | Real Madrid Player (pg620)

None of this makes any sense whatsoever.

Who on earth is advising these Saudi clubs on player valuations !?

PSG wouldn’t have been able to recoup anywhere near their original outlay for Mbappe of circa 180/190M this summer. It’s well known that they were looking for a maximum of 150m euros this summer to save face and stop him leaving for nothing next year.

Al Hilal could have saved themselves at least 100M plus on the fee.

If it is correct (highly skeptical the fee bcan be right given the above) then the PIF/Saudi clubs funded by PIF and whoever is advising them are being made to look like a laughing stock.
Money is no object. You’re looking at it through a blurred lens. The Saudis do not care about the cash or profit/loss. It’s s bigger picture for them

What other transfer fees this window have they got completely wrong?

Militant Islam has a new list of potential kidnap targets.

Im serious, and you would be crazy to not believe terrorists wont target suado football matches or the high-profile players.
They're hardly going to bite the hand that feeds them.

We will spend £2.59 next week and get called cheats with demands it’s investigated lol

No. He said, I'm happy to finish my contract but I have no intention to extend beyond this contract.

PSG then responded, asking for clarity... I.e say you want out and put in a transfer request. So we know you want out type of thing. But really, there goal was to try to stop him from getting his bonuses.

He ignored their request as he has no obligation to request a transfer. He has already stated he is happy to stay. But if PSG aren't happy with his decision to not resign, they can call up Madrid and work out a deal. But they'll still owe him his loyalty bonus.

It's not Mbappe who's pissed. It's PSG. Nbappe is clear eyed from what I see. All the emotional ranting has been done by management.
Transfer requests are very rare. I agree, he shouldn't forfeit his bonuses, but he could simply state he's good with moving now and perhaps let Real know he wants to go now. Then PSG would have to take a reasonable fee, say 70 to 80 mil or go pound sand. If they play hard ball at that point then they don't have a leg to stand on. I'm not going to lie. Outside of the Prem, Real and PSG along with Bayern and Juventus, are clubs I detest. I would like it if there were a way for both to get fucked. I equate Mbappe to the profiles of those clubs. No one made him say he rejects Man City, not Pep. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on. That's 3X defending Prem Champions, Treble winning, European Champions Manchester City to you Mr. Mbappe.

That said, I respect your taking the time to respond in an intelligent, respectful manner to make your points regardless of whether we agree or not. Big ups...

I dont think anyone is advising them. What difference does the fee make? They probably made the money that Mbappe wants by the time I have finished writing this post.

The fee from Al Hilal sends a message, it sets the world record fee again. It puts their name in the record books. A loan move or some nominal fee like 100m doesnt make headlines.
