Only if Madrid didn't have to be stingny not wanting to give Mbappe more images and personal brand right for him. One of main reason his last transfer failed and Mbappe choose to stay with PSG instead.

Heck City (If we want him) will have better chances signing him than Madrid if City offered a bigger share image right deal for Mbappe.

But if the worst happens and we lose Laporte, Gundo and Bernado this summer, perhaps Pep will decide to coach Grealish into an attacking midfielder and Foden into Gundoghan’s role. Sign Gvardiol to replace Laporte, swerve paying an absolute fortune for Bellingham and try and sign Gavi from Barca on a free, or part of a swap deal for Bernado.

I don’t think it would be a good idea, the guys ego is too big. Him, Pep and others in the team would clash no doubt. It’s a shame because if it wasn’t for his personality, we’d be unstoppable with him and Haaland up front together.
