In the end, nothing else really matters, but the fact we're considering spunking 100 mill plus tells me we're nearly sat at the big table
We at the big table mate.

What constitutes to tapping up? Are there rules against say Pep and Txiki simply meeting Mbappe for a few beers?
Help me out here, playing catch up.
The journalists you refer to - are they reporting City as being one of the teams from their own sources or are they relaying Sky's reports?
All using their own sources.
But not in the private members room.We at the big table mate.

It's irrelevant what the media are saying, FIFA can't intervene unless Monaco officially make a formal complaint & name the team. Until that happens it's all conjecture & hearsay by the papers. Yes it's happened but in my opinion Monaco have been clever hear by making a bailed threat. No need for them to kick up a fuss when they can do what they've done & released a statement. I think it's also a warning concerning Mendy, pay what they think he's worth or they'll make it awkward... We should start being like this & stop letting teams see we're desperate to sell & screw us on fees.

So all of them could have got the same info from the same sourceThe BBC and Guardian are not claiming "Sky report" they're saying the "The BBC understands..." or in the guardians case just reporting it as their own story.
