It's still in place and we are in a better position but it doesn't mean we can spend what we want, it would be inexcusable of us to fall foul of it again after all the hard work done, we don't want to go backwards. We need to get quite a few players off our books in the summer, that would be a big help if we could do that early I reckon. Also it's not just about FFP it's about the perception we have and the fact that Pep knows they will use it against him, they are already doing a tally of what he's spent so far.

Like a lot of us are saying though he will probably stay another season at Monaco if they win the league, they've got quite a few players there with lots of interest from other clubs to cash in on first. Next season would suit us much better for the kind of money they want and who knows the price could drop instead of going up, that will depend on his form.

Try selling that to 3 of the best young players in Europe, that they'll sit on the bench every other game to accommodate a fourth.

Or better yet, sell that to Mbappe who starts for Monaco. He'll jump at the chance to join a club he'll go from starting to playing every 1 in 2/3 games. Young players are notorious for fulfilling their potential when there game time is sporadic!
