The great thing about our signings this summer is how young and talented they are....as they are going to be a big part of the squad for the next 5-6 years, the money really isnt an issue. Do whatever it takes to sign this guy and we have our strikers set for the next 6 years and have automatic replacements already in place to take over when Aguero moves on...Would love Sanchez but if we could only take one of them, I'd take Mbappe over Sanchez as it would be better for the long term development of the squad...

True, but maybe there is another point:

Sanchez would bring in the winning mentality we need to compete on the highest level. Kompany has it, maybe Yaya.
Our young kids are great and Mbappe is too, but Sanchez would not only boost the team short term,
he would also take some pressure from our young lads on their way of further development.
In his shadow they could improve and breathe some of his winning mentality and superb attitude every day.
That way Sanchez over Mbappe could also be called as better for the long term development of the squad, right?

You always need a sound balance of 'young and wild' vs experience.
How many years are left in Sanchez? 3 for sure, maybe 5.
We need those special characters to get to the next level and implement winning mentality as a standard in the club.
 
I genuinely don't watch enough French football to even pretend I know if he's good or not.

IS he really worth all this raving?
 
Mbappe has tweeted Mendy & said he will miss him quickly.
That sounds like he isn't intending on joining him.
