Kylian Mbappe

I don't get where the idea Nike want him at PSG comes from. They want him at a Nike club. We're a Nike club!

It makes far less sense for him to go to PSG on Nike's terms, we double exposure compared to just having him instantly overshadowed by another Nike client, Neymar.

Who's our biggest Nike athlete - Sane. Who's that Nike are setting up photo shoots with Mbappe with - Sane.

We might not get him but I can guarantee it won't be because Nike opposed it.

the boy will also get the most worldwide exposure playing in the premier league than in League 1....10 times more people watch the premier league around the world than the french league!!

I'm not too concerned about the PSG link as I think this could be a just a ploy to try & bump the price up even higher.
With Madrid & Barca now pulling out its time to get this deal wrapped up.

Because we are the first to complain when opposing fans call us out for it without knowing the facts, yet some are accusing PSG of flouting and killing FFP without the facts.

Exactly. It's fucking embarrassing. Even with the Neymar purchase, PSG have only spent roughly what we've spent this summer and like us, may recoup a fair chunk by selling players. However, even if they don't then there's no way anyone can say whether or not they'd be breaching FFP and that's for UEFA to decide when it's time for them to be assessed.

In an ideal world, PSG wouldn't be interested in Mbappe and wouldn't have signed Alves but they are and they did. It is what it is and people need to accept it rather than chucking their toys out of the pram. We've got a great squad and great manager regardless.

Think some posters believe Psg doing the Neymar deal via Qatar paying Neymar as a "brand ambassador" and not coming out of Psg accounts is dodgy were as City is via our club accounts according to media reports. These reports may or may not be true.

Coutinho/Danilo(Porto) - PSG
Lemar/Dembele - Barca
Mbappe - City
Ghezzal / Dolberg / Amavi - Monaco

Think there was a piece about Neymar wanting Coutinho, Alves, Sanchez all at PSG if he signed. They're crazy who knows.

Yep, it's fcuking embarassing and raggish

No, it isn't.

Our club took the approach of trying to play within their rules.

As much as they don't like it, we beat them within their own rules.

PSG "appear" to have just said fuck it and have gone around it by having private equity funds give Neymar the cash.

There'll be absolute fucking chaos IF this is proven to be true.

If that does turn out to be the case, then of course that's a different matter and worthy of criticism but I can't see it to be honest.

"If" being the operative word here. In the meantime, stop doing what opposition fans do when talking about City's finances and jumping to conclusions.

With Neymar's father's track record, you can bet all the authorities will take an interest in the arrangements, not just UEFA.

That's the problem we don't know the only reason I think there might be substance to is La Liga really kicked off with murmurings the money wasn't coming direct from Psg.

FFP should never have existed in the first place, it was done solely to protect the big boys against new competition so fuck them all and well done to PSG for doing whatever they want (if they've broken the rules).

If anything I wish we had been the one to fight against FFP but it's not the club owners way and after what they've done to our club we can't be anything but utterly grateful.

Where am I jumping to conclusions?

It's been very clear we've played ball with UEFA and come up with very clever yet legal ways to bypass it faster. The CFG model being a prime example.

PSG, they've been up to seriously shady shit for a while now. Just look at the David Luiz saga and now this.

If the rumoured deal is true it means Neymar pocketed 70 mil for this deal from a place outside of PSG's accounts and that's doping. If they can do this, what's stopping ANY team from doing the same? Again IF this is the case, we could have bought Messi 10 times over and it never scratched our bank balances if the sheikh just paid him direct and he played for us for 40k per year. IF PSG did this and it isn't punished, the entire football financial model could be in ruins within 12 months.

I'd be careful about believing anything La Liga said as they quite clearly didn't want him leaving the Spanish league so were probably coming out with unfounded rumours to paint PSG in a bad light. Best to reserve judgement until such a time as it's proven that the transfer fee isn't going through their books.

Why should we applaud PSG? I'm no fan of UEFA, but the rules are there and if you want to play within their sandbox, you need to adhere to them.

We didn't like it and yes they fucked us over, but we adhered to them and took the high road.

If PSG have actually screwed over FFP by having Neymar bought for them from an outside influence, it could cripple the transfer market and the gloves will be off for all manner of shady deals.
