I think PSG's interest could work in our favour, tbh. I'm sure Monaco would rather sell to us than them. I'm more concerned about Madrid than Paris.
It helps the cause though imo. It won't be the deciding factor of course but it's always good to know people before you go somewhere. Makes you more comfertable.I doubt mates are playing too big role in someone deciding where he will go. It's multi-million business for many sides and interested parties, much more serious than following your mates.
So you aren't buying the Nike clause? I can't see it personally...

No.Any updates from Tolmie or other ITKs ?
That was 36 hours ago and has been discussed at length 50-100 pages ago, so don't get your hopes up on that alone. And here I was trying not to get my hopes up
I don't think Nike get to dictate where he goes, put it that way.
But keep in mind Ronaldo (Nike) plays for Real Madrid (Adidas), and Messi (Adidas) plays for Barcelona (Nike). You'd be surprised how much pull these company's have in sport. Dictate where he goes? Not exactly but they could effectively price him into a move from their end. If he's split 50/50 with a Nike club or addidas club and his contract has a clause that states he gets 30m for a Nike club then where's he going? What if it's 40/60...30/70 even.
I'm just saying it's very possible.
Yeah but still hard to see him not going to Madrid ronaldo and zidane and his favourite club
I would f**king hope not when talking about serious career decisions at the age of 18.I doubt mates are playing too big role in someone deciding where he will go.

I don't think it's that straightforward tbh. I do think he's interested in a move to City, but there are other very tempting offers on the table too. I don't think that he solely wants to join us and no one else. And that's before you even factor in the fee that Monaco are after, which could be prohibitive for many interested parties.
According to Dani Alves, it was Neymar who convinced him to join PSG. Also having the Brazilian defense and Maxwell in the office made the choice even easier. So mates sometimes do play a factor. You also see it in interviews when they ask about familiarity with the new teammates.I doubt mates are playing too big role in someone deciding where he will go.
