If you read The Mail article it mentions a re-distribution of wealth . The bottom line is the Premier League is the most lucrative and other European leagues want a piece of the pie.Thats why they want to change the CL format. Now the shit has hit the fan, the paella munching dick wants a salary cap and a level playing field. How many years have the Galacticos and Barca had the highest wages, attracted the world's best players and now as they swirl down towards the cesspit they want to change the rules as they are not fair ? It is not just this idiot, look out for the USA input at Utd and Liverpool supporting his approach.Worldwide people want to watch the Premier League, because it is open and not restricted to a couple of teams. Why the fuck should others benefit from that ? Am so angry about this.

Madrid and Barca pay twice as much as anyone else in Europe and they're tied into long contracts. Bring on the salary cap.

This and only this. I once worked as a consultant for a multi national company. They realised and had evidence that a French company, with the full backing of the French government were looking to fuck them over. They could have gone to the courts, spent money on barristers, waited months, perhaps years for an decision and then got some money but...... by then it would be too late. Instead they pulled strings, spoke to people and they won. The CFG are major players in world politics and business. Tebas is just an annoying little shit. I would be surprised if Khaldoon has heard of the daily fail let alone Tebas.
