Spanish football kick off times?

I'm hoping to see Valencia v Barca on wed. sept. 21st.
According to Valencias website the game starts at 10:00 pm. Is this normal for a wednesday night? Seems a bit late to me.

Nope it's right, many Spanish matches finish well after midnight.

Christ, and I thought Mexicans were lazy ;) Does this mean that stuff closes down for a couple of hours every day around lunch time? Or will it not affect me (tourist)? And thanks for the confirmation on the kick off times.

Depends on the place but yes a lot of the shops have a siesta time from around 1 or 2 pm to 3 or 4 pm and close for those hours.

They do so in Italy aswell but their KO times are still reasonable.

They also have dinner a lot later here and go to nightclubs far later as well.
