The irony is that the egregiously unfair Spanish TV deal that Barca and Real 'negotiated' served to undermine and weaken the La Liga brand, whereas the competitiveness of the Premier League (due mainly to its more equitable TV deal) has enabled it to negotiate much more lucrative deals, and enrich its members, in a virtuous commercial circle, accordingly.
Those two TV deals are the principal reasons behind this summer's spending, so La Liga, in particular, has nothing to complain about.

City with the fourth highest wage bill in the premier league and have not spent the daft money on transfer fees that the rags did with Pogba and Lukaku. All the while our neighbours down the road service a debt whilst our club runs in profit and owes no one.
