Surprised Chelsea fans are upset. Don't particularly like the signing myself but would have thought most Chelsea supporters would have realised his time was up with them.

If you think about it a chelsea legend goin to a title rival all be it for 6 months could win points for us against chelsea in title race im sure if certain city players did it to us alot of us would not be happy

Wouldnt bother me in the slightest. They released him, so why shouldn't he play for whoever he wants to.

He will probably not play against Chelsea - so their fans shouldn't be getting too upset. Great for us to have off the bench and for the experience he can share with the younger players. Welcome Frank!

Ok this is slightly off topic, but regarding lampard. I am having a "conversation" with my Chelsea supporting friend on FB and need a good comeback to this....any help?

Him: hahha you take our rejects
Me: If you reject one of your best players -Your fault
Him: hahaha. He was one of our best players. He is terrible now.
Me: Every team needs experienced players plus he became bad coz he played for a bad club for so long
Him: So more than 200 goals is terrible?

This is like Scholes coming to City - Lampard is chelsea through,

He isn't good enough to get in our first 11 and don't see why we should stop the route through for our youngsters at the cost osf bringing him in.

If i was one of City's up and coming yougsters I'd be a bit piss'd off at bit like pogba was at the rags when scholes came out of retirement.

Hope it doesn't come back to hit us in a similar way

FFS - it's political - because of the Home Grown rule. We can't buy an English player because we've been nailed to the floor by FFP. We need an experienced ENGLISH player for the squad. He fits the bill perfectly until January

FFS - That's your opinion above is mine. Lets see how many minutes he plays and how effective he is when he does. Personally I think their is a reason he is off to USA, he isn't good enough any more.

I think people are confused as to who wants this. My guess is that it's Kreiss, Reyna, Soriano and Txiki who all want Frank to immerse himself in City's behind the scenes culture. This is what Kreiss did.

I don't think it's anything to do with him playing other than to maintain competitiveness in a cup match and giving us cover in the case of an extreme injury crisis arising.

If he plays more than 5 games then I'd say I'm wrong. :-)
