Ok this is slightly off topic, but regarding lampard. I am having a "conversation" with my Chelsea supporting friend on FB and need a good comeback to this....any help?

Me: If you reject one of your best players -Your fault
Him: hahaha. He was one of our best players. He is terrible now.
Me: Every team needs experienced players plus he became bad coz he played for a bad club for so long
Him: So more than 200 goals is terrible?

probably on wednesday when he arrives at carrington. just hazard guess but would make sense and I doubt there isn't any images taken with him wearing the City shirt or something like that yet. so would be pretty dull to announce maybe without some PR stuff?

Can't see him getting much game time personally, he won't block youth in the cups. No where near the level for our starting XI. No doubt in my mind this is testing the water for FFP avoidance. Who better than an English golden boy to do it with.

All I need is one, wait,no two goals from 20 yards out, and I will be satisfied with the loan. He is a good professional in the same mould as Barry, so can't complain.

not sure, I can see him playing the early rounds in the cup, particularly the FA Cup to coincide with him returning to NYC and thus trying to get as much positive press as possible for when he goes back there.
