Was just about to go looking for when their season starts - cheers. Maybe they'll come over to train at our complex in January so they can integrate him into their squad a bit before he leaves, giving a good 4 weeks in the States. Looks plenty of time for me seeing as he'll be fitter than the US players on Feb 1st anyway.

Either that or we fabricate some crime he committed way back when to prevent him entering the US.

Didn't you listen to Wenger? This isn't a normal MLS to Premier League loan deal, like their loan deal with Henry was for example.

If they have any intention of NYCFC being a success he's in the US by March at the latest. They really don't want to be mini-MCFC, they kicked off about the kit being blue ffs. As much as Sheikh Mansour is loaded he's not going to spunk away a $100m investment which is essentially what he would be doing if Lampard misses NYCFC's first game.
