Lampard To City On Loan

Although hindsight is a wonderful thing, there was quite a lot of bollocks spouted in this thread. I know players tend to get written off after a handful of games but a few new lows on this thread.

I will happily admit I got this one wrong. Thought it was a bad move, he was finished as a player and sent wrong signals to the youth set up. His goals and performances as a sub have justified the loan deal. Fair play to him for still having the hunger.
 
Incredibly that one at the weekend apparently put him 5th in the perm's all time leading scorers list.

He just seems to have that Andy Moller knack of seeing where there is a space developing and coming into it late, hence less chance of being picked up.
 
I think this works both ways Frank looks like he has a new lease of life ,looks very happy in a City shirt, and should have done it a long time ago. Hope he stays for a long time
