Depends on the situation. I wouldn't throw one of our youngsters into, say, a situation like Real Madrid away. And if we have anything like the injury epidemic of last season, we might be thankful that we have a 36-year-old instead of a teenager.

For cup games we might decide to put youngsters in with Frank Lampard and rest our 1st teamers.

So in a hypothetical situation where we have loads of injuries and are playing real madrid before he leaves in january, he might get a game. I'm not saying we shouldn't sign him, i'm saying whats the big deal, he'd hardly get any games

Hopefully he won't get many games, because if he does it means several of our key players are injured. This loan only happened because he probably didn't want to play in Australia and NYCFC didn't want him sitting on the couch for six months.

Pellegrini has another option, that's all. He and Paddy V will know if a youth player is ready.

Yeah it all depends on who goes. If both rodwell and zuculini go out on loan. Then maybe he will get a lot of games.

I just like to see youth players get a chance thats all. Plus surely milner would be pissed if he is played in front of him.

Milner hasn't played the central attacking role, and also rarely scores. He offers something different to other players we have, obviously Yaya would be preferred to do that, but he gives us a decent option.

So when do you give iheanacho a chance. Alright lad you will only play if we are 5 - 0 up and cruising.

It would be a chance for him to be a hero. Remember when richards scored that equalizer against villa, that was a massive boost for him.

Anyway if we are putting lampard on because we desperately need a goal with all the attacking players we have, something has terribly gone wrong.

Lampards been playing the holding role for chelsea the last couple of years, he doesn't have the legs to play as a number 10 anymore.
