Just done a 14 1/2 hour day with no media at all.

Got home cracked a beer and read the thread from pg 144.

Tension at it's best.

Well done Lancs. The sands of power are changing. No Old Trafford no title. Maybe we should stay at Blackpool forever the wickets seemed to suit us there.

The Stanley Park Ampitheatre. Lucky enough to play there again this season. Another duck unfortunately, although I did get a couple of wickets. Lancs have got to get around the County more, but no chance after all that investment at the original Old Trafford..

Incredible achievement well done lads, watched lancs all season on their website and being self employed not got any work done the last 2 days (-; had to leave work at 4 50 yesterday no radio in the car no sky so missed the ending apart from good old wap, thanks Hampshire also as they were relegated what a fantastic effort by them, Warwickshire must be kicking themselves (and sky ) they only have themselves to blame. Fantastic Lancs and really pleased for Jim Cumbes now i am off to search for extended highlights

Can anyone remember the game that caused me to say that!!?? August 2010

Just go back and read the first page again. A lot of posters saying ( me included) saying this was the worse side in years !

And the championship bandwagon rolls on. Brilliant, Warks all out for 97, Lancs win by 147 runs

Warwickshire went from 86-3 to 93-9 and Simon Kerrigan finished with figures of 7-1-7-5 and Keedy 4.2-3-2-3

Given that Warks had Bell, Trott and Yousuf in the side (as well as in form Chopra and internationals in Clarke, Ambrose and Porterfield) it's a fantastic result.

Result of the season imo.

With retrospect that really does look a fabulous result.

When you consider that fixture, the last two wins, the run chase against Yorkshire at Liverpool (both roses matches infact) and even the Sussex game when Monty kept us out at the end, it has been a remarkable summer. Not to forget we lost 12 tosses out of 16 so we really have earned it the hard way. I don't think we'll ever seen another season as tense and thrilling as this one.

I was critical of Stephen Moore earlier in the summer but he really came good in the second half, so apologies from me Mr Moore.

With the 2ndxi making the trophy final for the third year running the future prospects look positive.

I did pretty well with my prediction of how the year would pan out. I would though refer you all back to the 2nd post of this thread where I criticised Lancs for not blooding youth; follow in the footsteps of Yorkshire and Hampshire said I, they've got the right idea...errr..*checks table*...hmmm, sorry.

The more I think about it, the Warks draw at Hants was an unbelievable result with us dicking Hants with an over to go on Saturday and us practically relegating them
