Ok Blues a bit of fun.

I have been going to City since 73 and a few stick in my mind, can anyone add to my list, and what they think the following was.

No Finals or Semis

Blackburn 18000
Peterbrough FAC 5th rd 8000
Stoke Boxing Day 12000
Notts County 8000

I know for the older guys and girls we had Newcastle 68

Gotta be Stoke away when Trevor Francis made his debut, dont know how many were there but must have been 15k plus?

Was at Notts 85 Stoke TF debut and there was a fancy dress at Stoke 88ish where I believe there was circa 13,000. But I was at Bburn promotion and I reckon that was the biggest in my time watchin City home and away since 1973.

Everton away in the 81 Cup Quarter must have been 13k...also Leeds in the Cup we took easily over 10k a few times (late seventies).... Battles galore!

Blackburn that I've been to or Stoke Boxing day - not sure if it counts but there was a hell of a lot at one of the testimonials at the swamp in the late 80's - either Arthur Arthur Albiston or Kevin Moran's.

Gotta be oldham away on good friday crowd was 23,000 and about 20,000 were blues ... we took all the fucking ground over

What a time that was.....

Went in evety stand that day.

Up and down ladders in the stand opp the main stand

Poor mr Policeman only went half way up the ladder before the ladder was pushed and backwards he went TIMBEEEEEER

how many did we take to palace in 1990 we had all behind the goal and down the side. remember being told we had about 10,000. Although was wasted that day so dont remember much apart from thinking city had score while were outside the ground only to find out we were 1 nil down when we got in plus some fat bloke standing on the 'dont stand on the fence sign' before it broke under his weight then everyone invading the pitch.

Oldham always seems like a major following remember being in the away end when we scored and ahlf the gorund were celebrating.

this game remember city not only taking over the ground but the whole town.

i remember huddersfield on a boxing day about 85 meant to be 13,000 also leeds away the first season down in the eighties we won 2-1(tolmie,parlane) we had the paddock the whole length of the pitch, aand seats above so that would be some following
