Starting to think i need it more and more now when i struggle to read certain text on a 50" TV lol

Anyone had it done and can recommend a decent place to use? (I'm in South Wales if that helps)

Re: Lazer eye surgery

Ooo look at me I've got a 50 inch tv. Sod off posh bollocks.

If it is just age related degeneration,ie reading, I don't think you can have them lasered.
I know i can't, just normal wear and tear, so to speak.

What job do you have?
Certain occupations advise against it because colour blindness is a side effect.

Old people are funny...

Lol, not that old.

Use one of the main ones , Optimax, Ultralase , Optical Express etc ..... not a back street joint.

One in five people aren't suitable for laser eye surgery , i was one of them so i opted for 'lens exchange' , a kind of cataract procedure.

Whenever I watch a TV documentory on this subject, all the experts are wearing glasses, so I think that says it all

I had it done in January. It was the best move ever. Absolutely amazing results. I was short sighted about -2.0 dioptre in each eye. Right now i'm close to 20/20. I experienced no pain at all other than some dry eye sensation for a while. I had lasek surgery. The surgery itself is not pleasant, there's no pain, but you are aware that a guy is cutting your cornea and then firing a femto second ablation laser at it. I came out as white as a sheet afterwards.

I spent the night with a set of plastic eye shields in place and the following morning I had a big reveal in Front of the mirror. It was surreal. From day 1 was vision was corrected. If I put my old glasses on now itchy are all blurry! I paid €3k all in. I went top level as I did not want to take any chane cutting corners with bargain deals. If you can afford it I would say go for it. The results are amazing and only a person who has worn glasses for a long time will understand.
