Laser eye surgery

I work on an oil refinery so the colour blindness think could be an issue, I'm only 25 so it's not a degeneration by age issue.

Just be nice to be able to see if the girl accross the road is fit or not without having to wear glasses all the time.

I'm i right in thinking that it is people who have problems seeing things close up rather than far away are more likely to be less suitable for the surgery?

Apologies for the spelling. I am in the process of intoxicating myself.

I had it done in January. It was the best move ever. Absolutely amazing results. I was short sighted about -2.0 dioptre in each eye. Right now i'm close to 20/20. I experienced no pain at all other than some dry eye sensation for a while. I had lasek surgery. The surgery itself is not pleasant, there's no pain, but you are aware that a guy is cutting your cornea and then firing a femto second ablation laser at it. I came out as white as a sheet afterwards.

I spent the night with a set of plastic eye shields in place and the following morning I had a big reveal in Front of the mirror. It was surreal. From day 1 was vision was corrected. If I put my old glasses on now itchy are all blurry! I paid €3k all in. I went top level as I did not want to take any chane cutting corners with bargain deals. If you can afford it I would say go for it. The results are amazing and only a person who has worn glasses for a long time will understand.

I think you'll find Balotelli to Aguerooooo was the best move ever.

Use one of the main ones , Optimax, Ultralase , Optical Express etc ..... not a back street joint.

One in five people aren't suitable for laser eye surgery , i was one of them so i opted for 'lens exchange' , a kind of cataract procedure.

Can you tell us more?

it's just replacing the 'worn' natural lenses in your eyes .... they 'shatter' the natural lens after making a tiny incision in your eye , and using a tiny 'vacuum' to remove the fragments ...... then fit new ones .... i had one eye done one week , and the other the following week ...... mine was done at the Bridgewater hospital , where the city players have their medicals, and i had it done with optical express back in 2008 ...... not cheap though , was about £3,900 !

No pain involved , you're highly doped up using drops ..... and it just felt like a cool water feeling gushing over your eyes as it was being done , each eye took about 20-25 minutes to do.

I'm expecting to pay a few grand for it but guessing it's is well worth it, busy with work for the next month so may have to be a chirstmas present to myself......
