Last Film You Saw

Was you smoking crack when you watched it???
It’s an absolute tragedy of a film and Vaughn makes tree beard look like lord Olivier
Anyone who is using Sly as a benchmark is on the 12 steps program.... ban hammer coming your way!!!

Dear Mr Messiah I have never imbibed of a crack pipe and only ever partake of the film noir when compus mentus. The only stimulation for me is a Lions hot dog lashings of ice cream followed by an occasional popcorn shuffle.Vaughn has much potential and I thought his cameo in Swingers was top notch.Have you ever seen Swingers ? I have him more as a comedy actor but the character he portrayed in Brawl was nothing short of superlative maturing with age like a fine claret.

With regard to Sly I only inferred a correlation between the two films for comparison and if you really want to see a good prison film then Brawl should be on your top three list along with The Green Mile.Thank you Sylvester Stallone for First Blood and John F Rambo from Baker team and thank you so much for your incredible portrayal of Rocky Bilbao the housewife's choice and a stern impetus to all males to get their sorry arse's down that gym.

Maybe hes not the greatest bard to have graced that silver screen but he has charisma vibrancy spunk and a certain je nais ce quo that meets the discerning cinema goers needs and wants. Its not all about Woody Allen Laurence Olivier et all and occasionally we can have edge of settee excitement with tongue in cheek fun for entertainments sake.Cinema my good man is all about escapism. Its the quintessential avoidance of the boring scary and banal aspects of day to day living.Freud says it is very good for us.Whilst I concur that you do have an opinion and voice to be heard I would protest in the strongest possible terms of your character assassination of Sly and Vincent Vaughn. That is all:

President of the United States Of America..Its very plausible indeed. The man is a living legend.

Ready Player One, IMO it seems to have some bad editing and is missing large chunks. It goes over the top on nostalgia but its OK i suppose. 6/10.
Oh that’s a shame. I finished reading the novel today.

As for films, Peter Rabbit, the Mrs lived it, the rabbits all acted well and some of their stunts were mightily impressive.

It’s very well acted and the bird in it is fit.

7.85/10

Each to their own i suppose, you might like it if you liked the book (which i understand has even more references to nostalgia). There seems to be a lot of 'if you know, you know) moments which make it a bit annoying to me, if there were 1 or 2 it would be good but they're constant.

The bird in it though...

I had to laugh when I saw the Stallone comparison. I've seen more convincing acting from a milk carton than from "Sly".
Try....

@Zin 'messiah' Zimmer called it.

"Hands up! Step away from the crack pipe!"...

Good call.

I remember thinking 'WTF! Stallone can act??!'!

It was a real eye opener and I would say Arnie Swaz has delivered nuanced performances, too, of late.
