Last Film You Saw

Elizabeth The Golden Age and a staid performance from Kate blanchett. The tomatometer people didn't much approve but we thought it a watchable romantic romp back in time to an age of Golden Mystique and so accordingly afford it 7/10

Dr. John Dee: This much I know... When the storm breaks, each man acts in accordance with his own nature. Some are dumb with terror. Some flee... some hide... And some spread their wings like eagles and soar on the wind.
Queen Elizabeth I: You are a wise man, Dr. Dee.
Dr. John Dee: And you madam, are a very great lady

"My loving people! We see the sails of the enemy approaching. We hear the Spanish guns over the water. Soon now, we will meet them face to face. I am resolved in the midst and heat of the battle to live or die amongst you all! While we stand together, no invader shall pass. Let them come with the armies of hell! They will not pass! And when this day of battle is ended, we meet again in heaven or on the field of victory."

Non shall pass my Queen !

Happytime murders, so I can’t stand Melissa McCarthey but I was bored nothing else to watch, pissed myself laughing at this a muppet film for adults, give it a go if you have a warped sense of humour. 6/10.

John wick 3. 90% excellently choreographed fight scenes, 9.9% stylish surrounds filmed in colour saturated hue, 0.1% story.

I watched about 10 minutes of the second one, I know it’s only make believe but I thought it was shite. I take it all three films are just separate fight and shooting scenes, I can’t stand films like that and as soon as a car chase comes on the off button is pressed. Trouble is, try googling “films without a car chase” and you just get a bunch of films with a car chase.
