Bad times at the El Royale. Good attempt at film noir with ensemble cast. Jeff Bridges, John Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Cynthia Erivo (fantastic performance),Chris Helmsworth. Plenty twists and turns and well made.

I saw this some time ago. Very good film, and East Berlin was not the place to be!

I thought three billboards was utterly depressing.

FInally got round to watching Dark Phoenix, i mean it wasn't as shit as everyone made out but it wasn't good either. The storyline is not a good interpretation of the comics but that's not a huge issue, the biggest problems are the writing (maybe you should rename them to the x-WOMEN) the acting (Cyclops is terrible) and the way they got to an end without really getting there. I don't think Sansa can sell Jean Grey either.

Made me snigger when 'Der Spiegel' was mentioned.

"How many people have you killed?"
    "123!"

Great piece of dialogue and a real curveball to the story.

That's life, the film's very true to real events. The ending has a cathartic feel to it, as they settle for the scum bag who killed someone else.
