Last Film You Saw

Conclave. The skullduggery with the cardinals choosing a new pope must make for a tense and gripping storyline. Ralph Fiennes is fantastic in almost everything, and pairing him with Stanley Tucci is a winning combination—both of them are so talented. I also really enjoyed the Harris book, so it's great to hear that the adaptation did it justice. Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of select tv as well. They’ve been offering some really good shows and movies—way more than I expected. It’s been great finding some new content to dive into.

Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story

Bugged me a little that the timeline flitted back and forth. Just my preference that a life story be shown chronically. I wasn't aware he had such a tight friendship with Robin Williams.

The 3 Musketeers (1973) directed by Richard Lester (action/comedy). Quirky, rollocking ,swashbuckling fun. Amazing cast: Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch, Michael York, Richard Chamberlain, Charlton Heston, Faye Dunaway, Christopher Lee, Simon Ward - even Spike Milligan. There have been several versions of this classic tale but this is the best. A sequel - The 4 Musketeers was made as well with the same cast.
Great film

And Welch omg, fittest actress ever.

Flight Risk

Not sure what I was expecting but 3/10 overall. Considered leaving the cinema but stayed on for the duration.

I thought it was great. One of my favourite films. Each to their own.
Empire of the Sun (1987) - 5/10
A Spielberg film that I hadn't seen or even really heard of, it was actually a bit disappointing. Set in Shanghai as the Japanese decide to take it during WWII. Follows a young English boy trying to survive in occupied China and a Allied internment camp. Feels like a better story was there to be told than what came out.
.

The tattooist of Auschwitz was very good but not in a good way, there is another one called thee tattooist of Auschwitzs son which is a documentary and brings it all up to date well worth a watch to bring some closure on a horrific part of history.
