Last Film You Saw

The Witch
Just rewatched this brilliant film written and directed by the young Robert Eggers.
It's creepy as all hell, based on folktales from the 16th century puritans who settled in New England.

The big black goat known as black Phillip is scary as all hell ! :)

I absolutely love this film, everything about it is superb, the directing, the camera work, the acting.. everything.
10/10
Enjoyed that film, great acting from the two leads, he should be in more stuff.
Been really looking forward to The Lighthouse, and its finally on Sky Cinema ftom sunday.

Money Plane.
It was hilariously shite, which I probably should have worked out from the trailer. The only surprising thing was it didn’t feature Nicholas Cage, who has become the king of shite movies recently.

I've seen it, excellent movie.
Superb acting.
I love these A24 movies, and Robert Eggars is just a great writer and director.

Just caught up with Hidden Figures. Excellent film, three strong leads and Costner at his most Costnerish upright American.

Also A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood. Not at all what I was expecting, a slow, thoughtful study of work/life. Hanks' character isn't the main one, but is a very mannered unshowy performance.
